Alison is another Allied Health Therapy Assistant at Stepping Stones Therapy Service. Alison has worked with children with disabilities for several years now. She is also AAC and PODD trained, trained in PODD for over 6 years along with key word sign. Over the years Alison has gained valuable knowledge in the understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attentive Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Childhood trauma informed practice and sensory regulation. Alison runs individualised therapy programs for our clients, at a reduced rate of what is typically charged sessions provided by an Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist. These programs are written and monitored by our OT or Speech team, to ensure that they include best practice principles to meet your goals in the most efficient way possible. Outside of Stepping Stones Alison likes to keep active and participates in supporting children with disabilities through community engagement. Otherwise, Alison is most happy spending quality time with family, friends, and her beloved Labrador Zara.
